The Cisco is a high-capacity server processor upgrade featuring the Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4, designed for use in Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers. As part of the E5-2600 v4 family, it is built on the Broadwell-EP microarchitecture using 14nm manufacturing technology, delivering enhanced performance-per-watt and greater core scalability compared to the previous v3 generation. The E5-2695 v4 processor includes 18 physical cores and supports 36 threads through Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, enabling it to efficiently manage highly parallelized workloads such as virtualization, cloud applications, data analytics, and enterprise databases. It is designed for use with LGA 2011-3 socket motherboards and supports quad-channel DDR4 memory, allowing for high memory bandwidth and capacity.
