The Cisco 4-channel CWDM OADM Module supports wavelengths of 1550, 1570, 1590, and 1610 nm. The Cisco® WDM series includes a range of 11 new CWDM passive modules that are compatible with the Cisco CWDM chassis (part number CWDM-CHASSIS-2=) and a 1300/1550 nm splitter cable. This new series significantly reduces insertion loss by up to 50%, features ‘power-tap’ ports for live monitoring, and allows for the integration of 1300-nm CWDM signals on existing fiber infrastructures.
